Product Overview & Application fields
Nickel plating ring magnets feature six magnetizable faces. When axially magnetized, they form closed magnetic circuits, delivering stronger holding force than same-volume bar magnets. The nickel plating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, ideal for marine/chemical environments. Supports single-axis (X/Y/Z) or multi-axis magnetization.

Manufucturing Process
● Raw Material Preparation
Rare earth metals, iron, and boron are precisely weighed and alloyed to achieve the required magnetic composition.
● Vacuum Melting & Strip Casting
The alloy is melted under vacuum or inert atmosphere and rapidly solidified to obtain a uniform microstructure.
● Hydrogen Decrepitation (HD)
The alloy is exposed to hydrogen to break it into coarse powder while preserving magnetic properties.
● Jet Milling
Fine powder is produced with controlled particle size distribution suitable for orientation and pressing.
● Magnetic Field Alignment & Pressing
Powder is aligned in a strong magnetic field and compacted by die pressing or isostatic pressing.

Packaging & Transportation
● Post-Coating Inspection & Verification
After surface coating inspection and magnetic performance verification, NdFeB magnets are approved for packaging only upon meeting dimensional, appearance, and functional requirements.
● Product Classification & Segregation
Magnets are sorted and grouped by material grade, dimensions, tolerances, and magnetization state to ensure consistency and prevent cross-mixing during handling and shIpment.
● Structural Reinforcement of Outer Packaging
Outer cartons or crates are reinforced with impact-resistant materials to withstand stacking loads, vibration, and mechanical shock throughout the logistics process.
● Magnetic Shielding for High Gauss Products
For strongly magnetized products, magnetic shielding structures are incorporated to reduce stray magnetic fields and ensure compliance with international air, sea, and land transportation regulations.

FAQ
Q1. What considerations apply when exporting high-strength NdFeB magnets?
High Gauss magnets may require magnetic shielding and compliance testing to meet air and sea transport regulations. Packaging design, magnetization state, and shielding materials must be verified to ensure regulatory compliance and shipment safety.
Q2. How does aging affect NdFeB magnet performance over time?
When properly designed and operated within specifications, NdFeB magnets exhibit minimal magnetic aging. Performance degradation is usually linked to thermal stress, corrosion, or mechanical damage rather than natural aging of the material.
Q3. Can NdFeB magnets be optimized for reduced rare earth content?
Yes. Through grain boundary diffusion and optimized microstructure, high coercivity can be achieved with reduced heavy rare earth usage. This improves cost stability and supply chain sustainability without sacrificing performance.
